Schema.org Validator

Currencies

Terms for currency-related properties within the Schema.org vocabulary.

Several properties within the Schema.org vocabulary are intended to describe currencies. For validation purposes, we attempt to match them with real-world currencies. Typically, they should be referenced using one of the following methods, but refer to individual properties for official details.

  • ISO 4217 Currency Code — e.g. USD for United States Dollar, EUR for Euro
  • Localized Name — e.g. US Dollar, Euro

We do not currently support validation of ticker symbols for cryptocurrencies nor local exchange trading systems. If you use these, you may see a warning about unrecognized values which you should manually verify and ignore.
