Units of Measure

Terms for unit-related properties within the Schema.org vocabulary.

Several properties within the Schema.org vocabulary are intended to describe units of measurement. For validation purposes, we attempt to match them with real-world units. Typically, they should be referenced using one of the following methods, but refer to individual properties for official details.

  • UN/CEFACT Common Code — e.g. CMT for centimetre, SEC for second
  • UN/CEFACT Symbol — e.g. cm for centimetre, s for second
  • Localized Name — e.g. centimeter, Sekunden
